Job summary

Union Pacific Railroad seeks a Track Laborer - Regional to maintain and repair railroad tracks within your designated territory. You will conduct essential maintenance, installations, and inspections to ensure safe and efficient train movement across North America.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong reading and understanding of instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect railroad tracks, track beds, and right-of-way to identify defects.
• Repair and replace rails, anchors, spikes, ballast, ties, and related components.
• Assist with handling, unloading, and movement of track materials and equipment.
• Perform track maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations, including operating heavy equipment.
• Maintain track beds and clear vegetation as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and FRA regulations.
• Build cooperative working relationships and handle high-pressure situations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
