Qualifications

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registration within six months.
Applicants hired after the specified date must progress to level 2 within 24 months.
Strong attention to patient safety, technical proficiency, and collaborative skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams and verify correct orders.
Use imaging protocols, maximize patient safety, and apply ALARA principles.
Administer medications via vascular access when required.
Evaluate images for quality, verify data storage, and process data as needed.
Assist licensed practitioners during fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
Perform radiographic procedures independently or with supervision, including outside the department.
