Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. You will independently conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality while following ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R registry within 6 months for new graduates.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to perform procedures accurately, evaluate images, and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and evaluate images for quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the radiology department.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Ensure proper data storage, transfer, and post-processing of images.
