Job summary

Belmont Healthcare Center in Belmont, CA seeks a Quality Technician to support the Manufacturing Engineering team and collaborate with Vehicle Engineering, Corporate Quality, and Supplier Quality. You will use your technical background to perform root cause analysis on vehicles, document findings, and communicate critical information to cross-functional teams.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, with flexibility for OT.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 4–6 years of quality technician experience, or HS Diploma with 6–8 years.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand CAD models.
• Broad mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
• Experience performing root cause analysis.
• Ability to read PFMEA and Control Plans.
• A.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (bonus).
• 3+ years of technician experience in automotive manufacturing (bonus).
• Experience building test equipment (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings and CAD to understand part design and intended assembly.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to facilitate root cause analysis.
• Develop and document troubleshooting techniques.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and communicate trends.
• Create and update quality documents.
• Develop training plans for inspection, quality standards, and quality alerts.
