Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality strategy across Field Services and Operations, driving reliability and safety in high voltage infrastructure.

You'll coach teams on quality tools (8D, RCA), oversee internal audits for ISO compliance, analyze data for improvements, and partner with cross-functional groups to digitize processes while maintaining compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in business operations and quality processes.
• 3+ years of experience with ISO certification and auditing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of quality strategies across Field Services and Operations in select regions of the U.S.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive resolution of customer-reported non-conformances.
• Coach teams on problem-solving tools like 8D, RCA, and non-conformance management.
• Manage internal audits and ensure ISO certification compliance.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate across business units to harmonize and digitize quality processes.
• Support warehouse inspections and ensure audit readiness.
• Champion customer feedback through non-conformance reporting and customer survey analysis.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
