Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Factory Quality Leader to champion quality excellence in a manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on shaping the factory's quality strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement to deliver world-class products. You will oversee Quality Management System, QA, QC, and testing, while partnering with engineering, operations, supply chain, and R&D to embed quality in daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma.
• Excellent analytical, root cause investigation, and risk management skills with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy factory quality strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Champion safety culture by integrating HSE best practices into quality activities.
• Drive customer satisfaction by incorporating Voice of Customer feedback into quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and regulatory standards across the factory.
• Lead Quality Management System, QA, QC, and testing processes factory-wide.
• Analyze quality data, set KPIs, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
