Job summary

ofi, a global leader in food & beverage ingredients, seeks a Regional Quality & Food Safety Integration Manager based in the greater Chicago area to drive QFS initiatives across the region. You will lead specification management, systems harmonization, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

The role requires 7+ years in QFS/regulatory roles, PCQI certification, experience with FDA FSMA and CFIA, and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, food safety, microbiology, chemical engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive QFS and regulatory experience in manufacturing, R&D, or corporate QFS.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing/CPG, including launches, scale-ups and technology transfers.
• PCQI certification; strong knowledge of FDA FSMA, CFIA, and FSVP requirements.
• Strong technical writing, cross-functional collaboration, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional implementation and governance of raw material, packaging, and finished product specs.
• Standardize and maintain QFS across regional sites; coordinate technical transfers and trials.
• Support acquisitions and co-manufacturers; ensure regulatory compliance and product readiness.
• Drive launch readiness and supplier quality programs; interact with R&D, Operations and customers.
