Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Regional Manager, Quality Supply to lead regional SQE activities across North America with heavy travel. You will set regional priorities, oversee staff, and drive surveillance and expediting to meet project requirements while upholding Bechtel standards and safety policies.

You will build capability through coaching, succession planning, and targeted development, while coordinating with project teams, suppliers, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, inspection, testing, and technical document review.
• Associate degree in a technical field or 12–15 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 8,000 hours of in‑shop quality surveillance experience.
• Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience leading SQ/QA personnel, across multiple projects or regions.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 3 days per week.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Set regional priorities and execution standards aligned to SQE operating model and project requirements.
• Decide routine staffing, TPP, scheduling, and supplier issues; escalate per thresholds.
• Run the regional cadence—scorecards, resource‑loading reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
• Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and “no surprises” communication.
• Upskill leaders through coaching, field calibration, and development plans.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and budget‑driven training and tools.
• Ensure surveillance and expediting are risk‑based and compliant.
