Champion Home Builders, Inc. seeks a Regional Purchasing Manager to lead materials management and purchasing across U.S. plants, driving cost improvements, supplier performance, and process standardization. You will coach plant teams and support category management activities with senior purchasing leadership.

The role emphasizes collaboration with regional and corporate stakeholders to align resources and ensure material availability while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in manufactured housing or construction.
• Minimum 7 years in plant- or corporate-level materials management.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory management, cycle counting, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing and materials-management processes across assigned plants.
• Monitor performance, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in material cost, inventory accuracy, and supplier performance.
• Coach plant purchasing teams and provide interim leadership when needed.
• Develop recognition for improvements and share best practices.
