Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Regional Purchasing Manager to lead materials management and purchasing across U.S. plants. The role focuses on standardizing processes, cost reductions, and supplier performance while partnering with regional and corporate leadership.

The position emphasizes coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic category management to support operational excellence in a manufacturing environment across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in manufactured housing or construction industry.
• Minimum 7 years in plant- or corporate-level materials management.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory management, replenishment, receiving, cycle counting, physical inventory, E&O, and purchase-order management.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing and materials-management processes across assigned plants (replenishment, inventory, counting, receiving, E&O, PO management).
• Monitor performance, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in material cost, inventory turns, supplier performance, and pricing controls.
• Coach plant purchasing teams and provide interim leadership when needed.
• Develop recognition programs and share best practices across regions.
