Job summary

CRH is seeking a senior procurement leader to drive the South Central Division’s strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost-optimization initiatives within the Americas Materials business. The role emphasizes cross-location leadership, ERP/Procure-to-Pay transformation, and technology-enabled procurement capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement leadership, experience in asset-intensive industries, and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Finance concentration preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement/strategic sourcing experience; 5+ years leading procurement teams across multiple locations or business units.
• Experience in a public company and/or large, matrixed multinational organization preferred.
• Experience in building materials, aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, construction, mining, or similar asset-intensive environments preferred.
• Experience with procurement shared services or centers of excellence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Division procurement strategy aligned with CRH objectives and procurement standards.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and performance management.
• Partner with Finance to forecast, track, validate, and realize procurement savings.
• Advance procurement transformation including SAP deployment and standardizing Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Champion technology-enabled procurement capabilities (e-sourcing, contract management, spend analytics).
• Support strategic capital investments through procurement planning and supplier engagement.
• Ensure adherence to CRH policies, internal controls, and governance across sourcing and contracting.
