Job summary

The Michaels Organization seeks a Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties in the United States. You’ll handle administration, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and resident relations to ensure smooth on-site operations.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of multi-property management experience, industry certifications (CPO/COS/ARM/CPM/HCCP), 2+ years of supervision, and a high school diploma or higher. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; college degree is highly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple properties and supervising staff.
• Industry designation/certification such as CPO, COS, ARM, CPM, HCCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and admin support for day-to-day property operations.
• Collaborate with VP and accounting to improve profit and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train and motivate on-site personnel.
• Oversee budgets, expenses, rent collections and turnover of vacancies.
• Set performance goals for managers and staff.
• Inform owners and senior leaders of major operational issues.
• Attend resident meetings as needed.
• Organize portfolio meetings and training opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities for the company.
• Coordinate with Social Services where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
