Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing communities across Indiana, SW Ohio, and Columbus, Ohio. You will lead on-site teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure exceptional resident experiences.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, ensuring HUD/LIHTC compliance, maximizing occupancy and revenue, and guiding property managers to deliver high-quality service. Travel up to 50% of the time may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of property management experience.
• Two years of on-site property management experience; supervisory or multi-site management preferred.
• Affordable housing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and supervise Property Managers and site-level personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and resident-focused service.
• Approve hiring, personnel status changes, and terminations for on-site staff.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and other regulations.
• Monitor leasing activities, occupancy trends, waiting lists, and certification processes.
• Complete quarterly Property Audit Checklists (PAC) for assigned communities.
• Oversee annual operating and capital budget preparation and monitor financial performance.
• Assist with contracts, renewals, and vendor management; prepare portfolio performance summaries.
• Promote dignity, respect, and service for all residents; address concerns promptly.
