Job summary

Bender Companies is seeking a Regional Manager to lead a portfolio of multifamily properties across the Midwest. The role requires supervising on-site staff, driving运营 performance, and delivering strong resident service.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, oversee leasing activity, and coordinate with Community Managers to meet performance goals. Travel 3–4 days per week is required to visit properties and ensure quality workforce housing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Regional Manager experience overseeing 1,000+ units across five or more properties.
• Experience leading and developing teams of 20+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and operational performance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property portfolio operations and performance.
• Supervise on-site staff and manage leasing, collections, and maintenance programs.
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and accounts payable.
• Guide Community Managers through capital projects and vendor bids.
• Develop relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly reserve draws with lenders.
• Prepare monthly investor reporting and KPI updates.
• Collaborate with acquisitions during due diligence.
