Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a Regional Property Manager for a residential multi-family portfolio within the DC/MD/VA region. The role requires leadership of on-site staff, oversight of operations, and travel to properties to ensure occupancy targets and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in LIHTC/Section 8 management, a track record with multi-site portfolios, and strong financial acumen. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years-experience in affordable LIHTC & Project Based Section 8 multi-family affordable housing property management.
• Strong preference for 2+ years of prior experience with multi-site portfolio management (5+ communities).
• Successful experience with certifications, recertifications, REAC/NSPIREinspections, MORs is required.
• Willing to travel 80%+ of the time to be on-site at properties within the RPM's assigned portfolio.
• Understanding of financials, budgets, regulations, LIHTC, local and state statutes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall operations of assigned properties.
• Review monthly financial reports, prepare owner reports and attend asset management meetings.
• Hire, oversee and evaluate staff, approve raises, counsel and administer personnel decisions.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as Company policies and procedures.
• Prepare for regulatory agency inspections and negotiate contracts on behalf of properties.
