Job summary

Blue Castle Agency in Dallas, TX is seeking a Regional Property Manager to lead a multi-property portfolio across the Dallas/Southwest region. This is a remote-based role with regular travel to sites and hands-on support for onsite teams.

You will oversee budgets, occupancy targets, and revenue goals, coach on-site Community Managers, and coordinate capital planning with ownership. The position requires 5–7 years of multi-site property management experience and strong knowledge of fair housing.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of property management experience, including multi-site or regional responsibility.
• Experience with market-rate and B/C class assets.
• Strong financial budgeting, variance analysis, and portfolio reporting skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop on-site managers.
• Willing and able to travel regularly across the Dallas/Southwest region.
• Familiar with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar).
• Experience turning around underperforming properties.
• Strong knowledge of fair housing and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight across multiple properties throughout the Dallas/Southwest region
• Support and hold accountable each site's on-site Community Manager and team
• Review property-level budgets, financial performance, and variance across the portfolio
• Set and monitor occupancy, leasing, and revenue goals at the portfolio level
• Travel regularly to properties for site visits, audits, and hands-on support
• Step in directly on underperforming assets to diagnose and fix operational issues
• Coordinate with ownership/asset management on capital planning and portfolio strategy
• Recruit, train, and develop on-site management talent across the portfolio
• Ensure consistent compliance with fair housing and landlord-tenant law across all sites
