Job summary

Volta is seeking a Project Risk Manager, North America to lead risk management across the regional portfolio. You will guide risk practices, integrate risk across design, procurement, construction, and operations, and advise project leadership with independent oversight.

You will build risk registers, perform quantitative analyses, and communicate findings to executives to inform decisions and contingency planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Significant experience in risk management, project controls, or delivery within complex capital programs.
• Proven ability to lead project and portfolio risk management with mitigation and escalation.
• Strong cost, schedule, contingency understanding and integration with risk management.
• Experience with quantitative risk analysis and probabilistic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional risk management program across North America with governance and escalation.
• Integrate risk management throughout the project lifecycle with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations.
• Provide independent risk oversight and challenge to leadership and risk ownership.
• Develop executive reporting on top risks, trends, and mitigation progress.
• Drive continuous improvement of risk processes and portfolio risk insight.
