Job summary

Volta is seeking a Project Risk Manager for the North America region to lead risk management across the NA portfolio and partner with project directors, engineers, procurement, and operations. You will own risk registers, drive governance, and promote a proactive risk culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, extensive risk management experience, and proficiency with quantitative analysis (Monte Carlo) and EPC risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, PM, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Significant experience in risk management and project delivery within complex programs.
• Experience leading project and portfolio risk management activities.
• Strong cost and schedule risk assessment and contingency knowledge.
• Experience with Monte Carlo simulations and probabilistic analyses.
• Knowledge of EPC contracting, procurement, and commercial risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NA regional risk management program across the portfolio.
• Integrate risk management throughout the project lifecycle and cross-functional teams.
• Provide independent risk oversight and challenge to leadership.
• Promote proactive risk culture with clear ownership and escalation.
• Serve as the regional risk SME to project, regional, and executive leadership.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including SRA.
• Develop risk-based contingency recommendations and governance.
• Produce executive risk reporting and dashboards for visibility.
