Job summary

Mars Incorporated's Accelerator division seeks a Sr. Project Engineer - Process to lead capital projects from ideation through closure, driving manufacturing and packaging technology across the division.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes technical leadership, plant engineering support, and collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and Brand Innovation to deliver value while mentoring team members and advancing process

Qualifications

BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical preferred).
7+ years in engineering, production, or technical leadership within consumer products manufacturing (CPG).
End-to-end capital project management experience with multiple streams, budgets, and timelines.
Broad knowledge of packaging, civil/structural, electrical, utilities, and construction management.

Responsibilities

Lead capital projects ranging from $2M to $100M+ ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safety, environmental and quality standards.
Be the primary technical authority for processing technology within Accelerator, driving line efficiencies and automation opportunities.
Partner with Accelerator BUs, Brand Innovation, Manufacturing, Technical Operations and Procurement to align scope and investments.
