Job summary

SERCO OF TEXAS - GULF COAST is seeking a Project Director to lead a senior regional team, drive strategy, and ensure execution across multiple sites. The role focuses on financial stewardship, organizational effectiveness, and performance against contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring executive leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage large budgets and complex programs in workforce development or related settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and executive leadership experience required.
• Minimum of eight years in progressively responsible leadership roles.
• Five years in a senior leadership capacity leading managers or multiple functional areas.
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-site operations and budgets.
• Proven ability to establish systems, accountability, performance measures, and standards.
• Strong communication with Boards, executives, staff, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a complex, multi-site regional operation with budget and performance accountability.
• Translate priorities into clear strategies, goals, and execution plans.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team and establish a culture of accountability.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and contractual obligations across regions.
• Develop management systems for visibility into operations, staffing, finances, and customer experience.
• Communicate performance, risks, and corrective actions to executive leadership and the Board.
• Lead workforce systems oversight and ensure effective administration of funded programs.
