Job summary

IDEA (Islamic Development & Empowerment in America) is seeking a Regional US Program Coordinator to support the US Programs Team from the Alsip regional office. You will liaison with regional partners, monitor grant implementation, and help plan seasonal events.

The role requires strong organization, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Travel within the United States is expected as needed; a commitment to IDEA's values is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work.
• Experience in social services or non-profit setting preferred.
• Willingness to travel to support activities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; second language helpful.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for regional program partners.
• Monitor grant implementation and communicate program context.
• Review regional grant applications and conduct quarterly partner visits.
• Plan and oversee regional seasonal events.
• Develop proposals, strategies and training materials.
• Maintain program databases and records for monitoring results.
• Support policy updates and procedures.
