Job summary

IDEA (Islamic Development & Empowerment in America) is seeking a Regional US Program Coordinator to support IDEA grants, seasonal events, and regional partner liaison. The role involves monitoring grantees, planning events, and coordinating with the US Program Team to design and execute service projects.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, at least three years in social services or nonprofit work, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work.
Travel required to support organizational activities.
Strong logistical skills with proven experience managing complex projects and deadlines.
Fluency in spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for programmatic partners within the region.
Understand and communicate the programmatic context of the region.
Review regional grant applications.
Conduct quarterly visits to program partners.
Identify programmatic needs and opportunities in the region.
Support community outreach activities for programmatic purposes.
Plan, manage and oversee regional seasonal events (Ramadan, Qurbani, Day of Dignity, Thanksgiving, Summer School Feeding).
Coordinate with US Program Team for events and service projects.
Assist in developing program proposals, strategies and training modules.
Maintain program database and records for monitoring results.
Act as main programs contact with regional partners.
Contribute to policy/procedure improvements.
