WEIDMANN Electrical Technology, Inc. is seeking a Director of Procurement for the Americas region to lead regional sourcing, drive supplier performance, and optimize costs within a global manufacturing framework.

This hybrid, full-time role is based in Urbana, OH, and partners with regional leadership to advance strategic procurement initiatives. You will oversee budgets, risk management, and supplier relationships across multiple countries, leveraging SAP and ERP systems while promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in regional/global leadership.
• Deep knowledge of sourcing practices, supplier management, and contract negotiation with a proven cost-savings track record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional procurement strategies across the AM region to align with global purchasing goals.
• Manage key supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance and quality.
• Oversee purchasing budgets and forecasting to meet financial targets and demand.
• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
