Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Regional Process Improvement Manager to join our corrugated team. This role partners with operations and commercial teams in West Coast plants to lead continuous improvement and customer-support programs for superior quality and manufacturing performance.

The RPIM will work across eight sites, travel approximately 75%, and develop plant Quality Managers while driving process improvements to ensure an accident-free workplace and world-class results.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality systems in manufacturing.
• Experience applying CI methodologies to improve processes in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to influence employees at multiple levels to drive change.
• Experience using statistical tools for data analysis (Power BI, Excel, Minitab).
• Willingness to travel broadly among multiple sites (75%+).
• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership and Quality Managers to improve performance across facilities.
• Develop and communicate strategies and systems to deliver our Corrugated Vision.
• Lead problem solving and implement corrective actions across plants.
• Evaluate workflows, SOPs, timings and materials to improve yield and consistency.
• Coach plant Quality Managers to grow in their roles.
• Ensure CI project goals are met and sustained with control plans.
• Track and report quality performance using statistical methods.
• Champion 5S and lead Gemba rollouts and improvement plans.
