Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Regional Process Improvement Manager to lead continuous improvement across its West Area corrugated plants, including Denton, Waxahachie and nearby sites. The RPIM partners with operations and commercial teams to improve quality and manufacturing performance and to foster an accident-free workplace.

The role requires about 75% travel to multiple facilities; travel can be reduced if resides near one of the listed sites.

Qualifications

Experience managing quality systems in manufacturing.
Experience applying Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to influence across levels of the organization to lead change.
Experience using statistical tools for data analysis.
Root cause analysis experience.
Willingness to travel among multiple sites (75%).
Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Partner with site leadership and Quality Managers across multiple facilities.
Develop, implement, and communicate CI strategies to improve performance.
Lead problem solving and sustain corrective actions.
Evaluate and recommend changes to improve workflow, SOPs, cycle times, and setup times.
Coach plant Quality Managers to grow in their roles.
Ensure CI project goals are met with control plans.
Track and report quality performance using statistical methods.
Champion 5S initiatives.
