Telgian Engineering & Consulting (TEC) is seeking a Regional Practice Leader to guide a team of Fire Protection Engineers, lead business development across Florida markets, and collaborate with the regional leadership to meet client needs and grow revenue.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in architecture/engineering, sales and management experience, and may hold a PE, NICET, or CPF certification. This role requires Florida residency and willingness to travel for client engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working experience in the Architecture/Engineering field.
• 4-year college degree – Architecture/Engineering a plus.
• 5+ years of sales experience preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certified or willing to obtain, a plus.
• Fire protection related NICET certification a plus.
• Certified Fire Protection Specialist a plus.

• Work with an Assistant Regional Practice Leader to ensure efficient completion of work using established performance metrics.
• Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

• Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.

This role will lead business development initiatives across key Florida markets, including Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and/or other major metropolitan areas. Candidates must reside in Florida and be located within a reasonable commuting distance of a major airport to support client engagement, regional travel, and business development activities.

The RPL provides leadership, business development, fire protection engineering and consultation services that support highly variable and diverse project scopes for Telgian clients as part of a multi-discipline team. More specifically, you will:
