Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group seeks an Associate Practice Area Director to lead and expand the regional science and technology practice in the West region. You will oversee a team, manage client relations, and drive revenue growth across pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor, and medical device projects.

Required are 12+ years in Life Science design, 5+ years in consulting engineering or A/E, and PE registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; exceptional candidates may substitute significant years of experience
• 12+ years of Life Science design experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years in consulting engineering or A/E firm
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience
• 5+ years’ experience in developing business for engineering

Responsibilities

• Oversee and expand an existing staff and coordinate the execution of science & technology activities in the region
• Maintain client satisfaction and generate new revenue and increase existing revenue streams
• Develop and implement regional business plans and pursue major projects and clients
• Lead sales presentations and articulate the firm’s value proposition in the market segment
• Provide leadership to senior staff and guide teams to deliver projects successfully
