Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York, NY is seeking an Associate Practice Area Director II (ICT) to lead science and technology activities in the West region and oversee a growing regional team. The role requires strong leadership, business development, and project execution across pharmaceutical, lab, semiconductor, and medical device sectors.

Travel is required, with a hybrid work pattern: in-office Monday–Thursday, 9 hours, and Friday remotely for 4 hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; exceptional candidates may substitute significant years of experience.
• 12+ years of Life Science design experience, preferably 5+ years in consulting engineering or A/E.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience; PE registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to pursue, win and execute pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor, and medical device projects.
• Oversee and expand staff; manage regional science and technology activities.
• Develop and implement regional business plans in line with global strategy.
• Coordinate staffing, client relations, and project pursuits with national teams.
• Forecast pipelines, develop winning strategies and teams, and monitor revenue growth.
• Be an active leader guiding the team to deliver high-quality projects.
