Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group seeks an Associate Practice Area Director - BET to lead and grow the regional science and technology team in the West. You will pursue major pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor, and medical device projects, align regional plans with global strategy, and drive new client acquisition.

You will manage a high-performance team, ensure technical excellence, and own revenue generation while shaping the market position of the BET practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; exceptional candidates may substitute significant years of experience.
• 12+ years BET design experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years in consulting engineering or A/E firm.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience; strong leadership and people development skills.
• 5+ years’ experience in developing business for engineering; proven revenue growth.
• Thorough knowledge of MEP systems; PE registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and expand an existing staff, coordinate the execution of science and technology activities in your region, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Generate new revenue and increase existing revenue streams; stay externally focused on prospective clients and partners.
• Track leads for major pursuits, forecast a project pipeline, and develop winning strategies and teams.
• Develop regional business plans in line with the global science and technology plan; coordinate with other geographies and services.
• Lead recruitment of senior staff and provide leadership to direct reports.
