Job summary

Diversicare seeks a Regional Director of Plant Operations to lead and uplift plant operations across multiple centers in the region. This senior role emphasizes strong leadership, strategic oversight, and hands-on guidance for maintenance teams in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Healthcare maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing training and coaching to center maintenance teams to meet standards.
• Train staff on CMMS usage and management.
• Review contractor proposals and advise on scope, pricing, and solutions.
• Manage contractors during projects and verify quality of work.
• Conduct facility audits (Life Safety, equipment, appearance, maintenance).
• Interpret plans, specs, and condition assessments for facility operations.
• Perform maintenance repairs and serve as Maintenance Supervisor when needed.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and operational concerns.
• Maintain timely communication via calls, emails, and messages.
• Participate in regional meetings, trainings, and initiatives.
• Implement company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Complete projects, audits, and reports on time.
• Assist centers in keeping residents, visitors, and staff safe and comfortable.
