Job summary

QUIKRETE Companies is seeking a Regional Plant Engineer to support 16 manufacturing facilities across the southeastern United States from Johns Creek, GA. You will lead process improvements, capital projects, and maintenance while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing, plus CAD drafting, capital project accounting, and strong analytical skills. Travel ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Mechanical preferred.
• 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing or plant environments.
• Experience with safety, governmental and environmental compliance.
• Experience with environmental control systems.
• Material handling and storage experience.
• Capital project accounting experience.
• Drafting / CAD experience.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Specification writing experience.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Organized with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel of at least 50% is required for this position.
• Provide process and design recommendations.
• Develop project scopes and capital budgets.
• Generate engineering design, bid specifications and schedules.
• Oversee budget review and forecasting.
• Provide project planning and implementation to improve operating and/or cost efficiency.
• Participate in safety and environmental regulatory compliance.
