This role combines the responsibilities of the Planner/Scheduler, CMMS Administrator, and Inventory Management Specialist. Primarily responsible for receiving all written and electronic customer work requests, verifying completeness of all entries, entering information into the CMMS, determining appropriate supervisor, and assigning work orders. The Regional Planner/Scheduler plans and schedules work utilizing the computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS, etc) and standard procedures to optimize maintenance resource utilization and productivity. Responsible for effective configuration and utilization of the CMMS, including data capture, backlog management, labor management/resource productivity, performance reporting, material management, etc. as required to meet the strategic long-term objectives of the RME (reliability, maintenance and engineering) team. Team spirit and commitment to customer service is required. This position is responsible for managing all activities related to planning and scheduling operations, maintenance, and engineering resources by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors

Have good planning and organizational skills. Ability to understand what constitutes good instructions. Able to read blueprints and shop drawings. Understanding of the proper use of work orders, priorities, scheduling, etc. Ability to keep multiple jobs in controlled motion—simultaneously. Style and capability commanding respect within both maintenance and operating organizations.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $ 61,582.50 - $72,450.00
