Facility Manager
The Facility Manager supports the overall operation, maintenance, and administration of one or more commercial or industrial facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for tenants and occupants. This role partners with the Facility Manager to oversee building operations, vendor performance, maintenance programs, financial management, regulatory compliance, and capital improvement initiatives. In the absence of the Facility Manager, the Assistant Facility Manager assumes leadership responsibility for facility staff and day-to-day operations. The position requires a strong background in facility and property operations, project management, budgeting, contract administration, and building systems. The successful candidate will proactively manage maintenance activities, support capital planning, maintain compliance documentation, oversee vendor relationships, and drive operational efficiencies while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and occupants.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May be required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
