Novant Health Hospital Based Medicine Institute seeks a compassionate Clinical Physician Executive Market Leader for the Charlotte Region. The leader will oversee six acute-care facilities, supervise medical directors, and guide Hospital Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Hospice and Palliative Care programs across the market.

A 0.7 administrative footprint and 0.3 clinical footprint, with responsibility for strategic growth, operational excellence, and integration of virtual care models.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive leadership experience in hospital-based medicine.
• Current clinical knowledge and leadership in a hospital-based physician role.
• Preferred: Medical Director and/or Department Chair experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic growth and operational excellence across six hospitals.
• Lead integration of virtual care models to expand access.
• Develop policies, budgets, and resource plans with executive leadership.
• Provide clinical leadership and physician engagement across markets.
