Job summary

JumpstartMD is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support weight management and cardiometabolic health across Monterey and Santa Cruz locations. You will conduct 1:1 consultations, provide routine patient care, and help drive an evidence-based, multidisciplinary program.

The ideal candidate holds California licensure as NP/PA, a Master’s degree, and DEA, with OIG clearance and NP/NPI numbers.

Qualifications

• California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA Registration Certificate.
• OIG Clearance and NPI number.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 member consultations for weight management and cardiometabolic health.
• Provide routine patient care including examinations, screenings, and medication administration.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and evaluate lab tests.
• Make follow-up calls and respond to post-visit inquiries.
• Adhere to policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics.
• Support team with medical and program-related questions and trainings.

Location: Available to support both Monterey and Santa Cruz locations

Classification: Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00am - 1:00pm, some later days required due to internal meetings or administrative tasks

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 member consultations for weight loss, applying the JumpstartMD program.
• Provide routine patient care, including examinations, screenings, and medication administration.
• Ensure up-to-date patient records, ordering and evaluating lab tests as needed.
• Conduct follow-up calls and promptly respond to post-visit inquiries.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics in delivering quality patient care.
• Support team by assisting with medical and program-related questions, attending meetings, and completing required training.

Qualifications And Requirements

• California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA Registration Certificate.
• OIG Clearance and NPI number
• Must be able to meet and receive a background check to include criminal records clearance.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

75 - 90 USD per hour(Santa Cruz)

75 - 90 USD per hour(Monterey)
