Job summary

JumpstartMD, Inc. is seeking a Regional Nurse Practitioner in California to join a weight management and cardiometabolic health program.

You will lead 1:1 member consultations, perform routine clinical tasks, and manage documentation for Monterey and Santa Cruz locations. Ideal candidates hold a California NP/PA license, a Master’s degree, and DEA registration, with strong EHR skills and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA Registration Certificate.
• OIG Clearance and NPI number.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 member consultations for weight loss under JumpstartMD program.
• Provide routine patient care including examinations, screenings and medication administration.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and order/evaluate lab tests as needed.
• Make follow-up calls and respond to post-visit inquiries promptly.
• Support team with medical questions, attend meetings, and complete trainings.

Location : Available to support both Monterey and Santa Cruz locations
Classification : Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00am - 1:00pm, some later days required due to internal meetings or administrative tasks

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct 1:1 member consultations for weight loss, applying the JumpstartMD program.
• Provide routine patient care, including examinations, screenings, and medication administration.
• Ensure up-to-date patient records, ordering and evaluating lab tests as needed.
• Conduct follow-up calls and promptly respond to post-visit inquiries.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics in delivering quality patient care.
• Support team by assisting with medical and program-related questions, attending meetings, and completing required training.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA Registration Certificate.
• OIG Clearance and NPI number
• Must be able to meet and receive a background check to include criminal records clearance.
