Job summary

HomeFirst is seeking a Development Manager, Regional Philanthropy in Sonoma County. This hybrid role leads regional fundraising and manages relationships with individuals, foundations, and civic partners to expand HomeFirst's visibility and philanthropic investments.

The position partners with centralized Development and Marketing teams and requires a proactive fundraiser who builds opportunities and serves as a visible ambassador for community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible nonprofit fundraising or business development experience.
• Demonstrated success cultivating and soliciting major gifts or comparable investments.
• Experience managing donor portfolios and building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement fundraising strategy for Sonoma County.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of individual, corporate, and foundation prospects.
• Represent HomeFirst in community engagements and strengthen regional partnerships.
• Develop and manage donor engagement events and cultivation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated donor experience.
