Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Texas seeks an innovative health system pharmacy leader to supervise, coordinate, and expand clinical pharmacy services across hospitals within the San Antonio region, reporting to the Regional VP and Directors of Pharmacy.

The role emphasizes pharmacosafety, pharmacotherapy, and pharmacoeconomics across neonatal to geriatric populations, inpatient and outpatient settings, with opportunities to lead strategic initiatives and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

PharmD degree from an accredited college or university.
Current Texas State license from Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
5-10 years of progressive advanced clinical pharmacy experience including direct patient care, supervision of staff, and coordination of services and programs.

Responsibilities

Supervises, coordinates, develops, and implements clinical pharmacy services and programs for the San Antonio market.
Provides leadership in optimizing pharmacosafety, pharmacotherapy, and pharmacoeconomics for neonatal, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including inpatients and outpatient.
Works with Regional VP and Directors of Pharmacy to align on hospital pharmacy initiatives and outcomes.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
