Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Pharmacist in Hagerstown, MD to manage daily pharmacy operations, assist customers, and ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions. You will supervise staff, enter orders, and maintain compliance with policies.

A Pharmacy degree or PharmD is required, with state dispensing licensure and immunization authority. One year of experience or relevant training is expected; relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Must be licensed to dispense in the state(s) they work.
• Must be authorized to immunize.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboarding skills.
• Must meet company safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders, schedule work/production, supervise and train team members, receive/store/stock items, check dates, and complete all department tasks as needed.
• Wait on customers, answer telephone calls, and make calls to clarify prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by counting pills, measuring liquids, and compounding ingredients.
• Perform record-keeping functions as assigned by Department Manager.
