Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring a Pharmacist at our Harrisburg, PA location. You will manage prescription processing, customer service, and medication compounding, while ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or Pharmacy degree, are authorized to immunize, and have at least 1 year of experience or relevant training. This on-site role offers a comprehensive relocation package for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties and comply with policies/safety regulations.
• Probationary period of 60 days.
• Must have a degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Must be authorized to immunize.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards for the job.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders, schedule work/production, supervise and train team members, receive/store/stock items, check dates, and complete all department tasks as needed.
• Wait on customers, answer calls, and clarify prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by counting pills, measuring liquids, and compounding ingredients.
• Perform record-keeping functions as assigned by Department Manager.
• This role is eligible for a competitive relocation package.
