Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current license in good standing in the state(s) in which to practice.
• Current immunizing pharmacist certification.
• Criminal background check and drug testing completed as required.
• Complete knowledge of state and Federal laws pertaining to pharmacy practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and direct associates.
• Maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality; Medicare/Medicaid authorization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Managers and associates.
• Responsible for professional and business operations within the pharmacy department.
• Identify store level sales and marketing opportunities with the Store Manager.
• Supervise the performance and duties of all pharmacy associates.
• Ensure adequate staffing and training of pharmacy personnel.
• Follow Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual and company policies.
• Perform immunizations according to Company guidelines.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and professional conduct.
• Ensure safety standards and equipment maintenance.
• Manage productivity within MPP guidelines.
