Job summary

Hannaford Pharmacy in Troy, NY is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.

You will partner with store management to optimize patient care, administer immunizations, counsel customers, and maintain accurate prescription processing in a fast-paced retail environment. A PharmD and active license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a PharmD and active license in the state(s) of practice.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required.
• Current and active immunizing pharmacist certification.
• Thorough knowledge of state and Federal pharmacy laws.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Managers and associates to oversee pharmacy operations.
• Identify and act on store-level sales and marketing opportunities in conjunction with the Store Manager.
• Supervise duties and responsibilities of all pharmacy staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing and training of pharmacy personnel and comply with safety standards.
• Perform immunizations according to policy and maintain patient communications and confidentiality.
