Job summary

Bausch & Lomb is seeking a Regional Account Manager – Market Access to drive payor strategy, reimbursement, and access for MIGS devices across commercial plans, MedAdv, and Medicaid. You will build relationships with medical directors, policy staff, and advocacy groups, guiding internal teams and customers on policy, coding, and appeals.

The role requires extensive regional travel (30%–50%), strong stakeholder engagement, and deep knowledge of payer structures and CMS regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in life science or business preferred.
• At least 5 years in payor/reimbursement roles within medical devices and Part B coverage.
• Minimum 2 years in ophthalmic practice management and revenue cycle related to MIGS.
• Ability to interpret MAC LCDs and CMS regulations for Medicare Advantage.
• Proven payor strategy, reimbursement, and account management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional payor strategies to secure coverage and reimbursement.
• Educate and support Sales teams by removing access barriers and resolving reimbursement challenges.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars on local payor coverage criteria.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors, state agencies, advocacy groups.
• Serve as subject-matter expert on regional payor policy for MIGS devices.
• Engage with health care stakeholders in Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and others.
