Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Regional Account Manager - Market Access (RAM) to execute payor strategies across commercial plans, MedAdv and Medicaid in assigned states. The role reports to the National Payor Account Director and drives access for MIGS devices while educating physicians and providers on local payor policy requirements.

The RAM will build and maintain payor relationships, resolve reimbursement barriers, and act as a reimbursement liaison with Sales, Medical Affairs, and HUB teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in life science or business preferred.
• 5+ years in payor/reimbursement in medical devices or Part B.
• 2+ years in ophthalmic practice management, billing, or reimbursement.
• Ability to interpret MAC LCDs and related CMS regulations for Medicare Advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional payor strategies for coverage, coding and reimbursement.
• Partner with Sales to remove access barriers and resolve reimbursement challenges.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars on local payor coverage criteria and CPT/ICD-10 coding.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors, state agencies and advocacy groups to influence policy.
• Serve as the regional payor and reimbursement subject-matter expert for assigned payors.
• Understand major health care stakeholders including Commercial Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and provider groups.
