Job Description

As a Regional Channel Manager, you will oversee all sales activities for DDN's designated channel partners to support revenue growth and business expansion. This role requires a results-driven individual with a strong understanding of the storage marketplace, proven success in expanding partner bases, and skilled in building technical and sales relationships. Collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Support teams is essential.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maximize partner sales through best practices, training, and support
  • Act as the primary account interface for channel-generated opportunities
  • Establish and nurture channel field contacts and team campaigns
  • Coordinate with marketing on programs and events to generate new prospects
  • Recruit and manage channel partners aligned with business goals
  • Set revenue targets and participate in account planning and sales campaigns
  • Achieve sales quotas and provide accurate forecasts
  • Report pipeline and forecast data regularly using Salesforce
  • Participate in partner seminars and technical training programs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years in sales, with 5+ years in channel management
  • BSc in Engineering or Computer Science preferred; MBA a plus
  • Proactive, results-oriented, with leadership qualities
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and expanding partner networks
  • Strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 channel partners in high-performance computing and enterprise IT
  • Deep understanding of storage technologies and consultative sales techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
