Job summary

Collier County is seeking a top-level manager for the Parks and Recreation Division, responsible for administering and evaluating facilities including community parks, pools, fitness centers, beaches and athletic fields.

The role oversees staff, programming, budgeting, compliance with policies, and data-based planning to deliver high-quality services to residents and visitors across the county.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.
• CPRP certification preferred.
• Valid Florida driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises recreation staff in planning and implementing programming at County facilities.
• Manages recreation programs, services, events, and special projects; analyzes data and reports findings.
• Allocates funding sources and monitors expenditures and program fees.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, ordinances, and laws; develops SOPs and training.
• Communicates with internal and external groups to plan and execute activities and events.

Education

Bachelor's degree

CPRP preferred

Florida Driver's License required
