Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Manager of Operations Support to oversee audit/compliance, training, start-up support and systems enhancements across distribution operations. This role reports to a Director of Distribution Operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating start-up processes with customers, coaching facility managers, enforcing safety and process standards, and leading improvements in labor planning and productivity. Travel up to 75% is required within the designated region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years of distribution management experience.
• Able to utilize WMS systems.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong networking knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Able to train and present to local operators.
• Willing to travel up to 75% on short notice.
• Willing to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Audit operations for compliance, safety, productivity and customer service.
• Lead start-up processes for new facilities and oversee vendor and lease setups.
• Train Facility Managers on policies, SOPs, and HR procedures.
• Coordinate with customers during start-up to ensure smooth transition to operation.
• Monitor labor costs and productivity; report on performance metrics.
• Support regional VP with projects and regional initiatives.
