Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek's, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Area Operations Manager to direct branch operations and optimize warehouse processes, transportation, and counter sales. The role oversees a team of 12+ associates and collaborates with sales to meet service and budget goals.

You will establish metrics, conduct audits, drive efficiency, and lead regular operations meetings while ensuring safety and compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of operational experience in a fast-paced distribution setting.
• Strong knowledge of operations management and financial principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and inventory control systems (WMS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set and monitor performance metrics for orders, delivery, and inventory.
• Lead audits to ensure standards and drive improvements.
• Develop strategies to improve warehouse and logistics efficiency.
• Lead regular operations meetings with location managers.
• Oversee budgeting and department spend compliance.
• Manage a 12+ associate team, including hiring decisions and performance feedback.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and customer satisfaction.
