Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek's, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seek an Area Operations Manager to direct branch operations, optimize warehouse processes, and manage a team of 12+ associates across locations with annual revenue exceeding $30M. You will implement metrics, lead meetings, and drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities include budgeting, evaluating reports, ensuring on-time delivery and safety, and collaborating with sales to resolve issues while promoting growth and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4-6 years operational experience in a fast-paced distribution organization.
• Knowledge of warehouse, dispatch/transportation and counter sales processes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS programs and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and maintain metrics for order fill rate, on-time delivery, equipment utilization and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct audits to monitor metrics and drive operational excellence across locations.
• Lead regular operations meetings with branch managers and address issues.
• Oversee budgets and ensure department spending aligns with plans.
• Review production reports, expenses, and labor costs for store operations.
• Ensure on-time delivery by optimizing warehouse and logistics processes.
• Oversee a team of 12+ associates, including hiring, performance feedback, and budgeting accountability.
• Enforce company policies and safety standards and collaborate with sales to support customers.
