Job description

Regional Operations Manager, Retail Bank, First Level Officer

The Regional Operations Manager will maintain an in-depth knowledge of banking center automation systems and procedures, analyze and implement system and procedure changes, and provide feedback on their impact on the banking center distribution system. The role involves participating in projects such as software installations, banking center openings and closings, and facility renovations, with a focus on improving workflow techniques. All activities aim to ensure the efficient operation of the banking center system to enhance sales and customer service.

Position Competencies

Successful candidates possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, drive results, and have strong presentation skills.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance on corrective actions for issues such as discrepancies, losses, attendance, punctuality, and cash counts for non-exempt employees.
2. Assist with documentation and training related to operational corrective measures.
3. Oversee self-audits across banking centers and conduct operational reviews.
4. Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. DD, CTR/MCTR) through oversight and follow-up, including reviewing operational reports.
5. Ensure banking centers complete required CBT courses and regulatory training.
6. Assist banking centers after robberies.
7. Respond to shipment variance requests.
8. Provide non-sales training on topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, new procedures, and transaction authority.
9. Identify and implement workflow efficiencies specific to banking centers and provide feedback on procedures affecting all centers.
10. Attend monthly meetings and communicate operational changes to banking centers.
11. Assist with equipment repairs, facility issues, and work orders.
12. Represent banking centers and Regional Managers on operational project teams.
13. Support the opening, closing, relocation, and remodeling of banking centers.
